Bourbon and Caramelized Banana Sundae made with Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Spread

Ingredients

Vanilla bean ice cream 3 3/4 qt.

Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Spread

 12 oz.
Bourbon 12 fl. oz.
Light brown sugar 21 oz.
Banana, firm, sliced 6 ea.
Mini marshmallows 1 1/2 oz.

Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie crumble

 6 1/2 oz.
Whipped cream As needed
Bourbon soaked cherries 6 ea.

 

Method

  1. Temper ice cream in a refrigerator to soften. Fold in Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Spread and store in airtight container in freezer.

Make to order, for single portion:

  1. In sauté pan, add 1 fl. oz. bourbon and heat until alcohol is cooked out. Add ¼ cup light brown sugar and whisk until incorporated. Cook to caramel stage. Add ½ sliced banana and sauté until slightly caramelized on both sides, but not falling apart. Remove from heat.
  2. Place 8 oz. reserved cookie dough ice cream in a stemmed martini glass or other serving vessel of choice, top with banana brown sugar mixture, 1 Tbsp. mini marshmallows, 2 Tbsp. Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie crumble, a dollop of whipped cream, and a cherry.
