Butter, unsalted 2 tbsp
Onion, small diced 0.5 cup
Celery, small diced 0.5 cup
Garlic, dried, minced 2 tsp
Water 1 qt
Minor's Freeze Thaw Thickener 1 x 35 pounds 5 tbsp
Minor's Gluten Free Chicken Base made with Natural Ingredients 4 x 5 pounds 3 tbsp
Cooked chicken, meat only, diced 8 oz
Milk, semi skimmed 1.5% - 1.8% 1 cup
Vinegar, balsamic 0.5 oz


  1. Melt Butter, unsalted in a 2 qt pot over medium heat until melted; add onion and celery and cook for 2-3 minutes or until vegetables are soft.
  2. Mix Minor’s Freeze Thaw Thickener with ½ cup of the Water to make slurry, add the remaining Water, slurry, garlic, and Minor’s Gluten Free Chicken Base to the pot and bring to a simmer. Cook 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and bring back to a simmer for 2-3 minutes

Garnish with fresh basil and shredded carrots.
