Double Cheezeburger with Sweet Earth® Awesome Burger

Offer up all the fixins with the Sweet Earth® Double Cheezeburger. With melted vegan American cheese, pickle chips, tangy condiments and a mountain of stacked veggies, this vegan burger has twice the Awesome Burger for twice the flavor.
Ingredients
  • Cooking oil -- 1 Tbsp
  • Awesome Burgers -- 2 ea
  • Plant-Based American cheese -- 1 slice
  • Lettuce -- 1 leaf
  • Tomato -- 2 slices
  • Onion -- 1 slice
  • Pickle chips -- 3 ea
  • Ketchup -- 2 tsp
  • Mustard -- 1 tsp
  • Vegan buns -- 1 ea
Preparation

    Preheat griddle or grill to 375°F.

    Season Sweet Earth® Awesome Burgers with salt and black pepper. Add oil to the griddle. Once the oil shimmers, add the Awesome Burgers and cook until caramelized on both sides. Cook for about 4 minutes, until temperature reaches 165°F.

    Add cheese to the burger and melt.

    Starting from the heel of the bun, add lettuce, burgers with cheese, onion, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the crown bun.
Tips:

If wanted to achieve the “smash burger”, just press the burger patties with a flat spatula until desired thickness. Also, in order to melt the cheese faster once applied to the burger, cover with a dome and add a little to the flat top.
