Nestlé Toll House Hot Cocoa Bomb

Magic happens when you fill a hard chocolate shell with cocoa mix and melted chocolate, then drop the “bomb” into hot milk in front of the customer.

Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels

Nestlé  Dark Chocolate Flavor Hot Cocoa Mix

Hot milk 

 

Method

  1. Melt enough Nestlé Toll House Morsels to line a small or mini silicon spherical mold. Brush the inside of the mold with the melted chocolate; chill. Once set, brush a thin second layer of chocolate over the first layer and chill again.
  2. Melt additional morsels to fill the molds.
  3. Warm a flat sheet pan or plate. Remove the half-spheres from the mold and place them on the warm pan and carefully smooth the edges and surfaces with a metal spatula. Fill half of the hemispheres with melted chocolate and the other half with the cocoa mix.
  4. While the chocolate shells are still warm, quickly place a chocolate-filled half over a cocoa-filled half and seal the edges with your finger or a small metal spatula. Roll or drizzle the spheres with additional melted chocolate and chill until service.
  5. To order, drop a cocoa bomb into hot milk in a glass mug or pour the milk over the cocoa bomb in the cup. Stir until dissolved.
