Preparation

For food safety & quality, read and follow these COOKING INSTRUCTIONS to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Cooking time may vary based on equipment and quatity cooked in equipment. Check for doneness using thermometer.

Convection Oven 325ºF Preheated: Do not loosen lid. Place tray on a baking sheet. Stir halfway through cooking; replace lid. Cook Frozen (0ºF) product for 60-65 min./Thawed (40ºF or less) product for 25-30 min. 

Conventional Oven 400°F Preheated: Do not loosen lid. Place tray on a baking sheet. Stir halfway through cooking; replace lid. Cook Frozen (0ºF) product for 1 hr. 25-30 min./Thawed (40ºF or less) product for 40-45 min. 

Low Pressure Steamer 5-7 lb. PSI: Do not loosen lid. Cook Frozen (0ºF) product for 60-65 min./Thawed (40ºF or less) product for 30-35 min. 

Microwave Oven 1100 Watt: Cook loosely covered in microwave-safe container; stir. Cook 8 oz Thawed (40ºF or less) product on 50% Power for 3 - 3 1/2 min.

  • Product must be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. Stir well before checking temperature.
  • If thawing, product must be thawed under refrigeration (40°F) for no more than 48 hours prior to cooking. DO NOT REFREEZE.
