Chai Coffee

  • 2 portions




NESCAFÉ Taster's Choice House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules4 tsp
Hot water½ cup
Granulated sugar2-3 tsp
Quarter-size slices of peeled fresh ginger2
Whole black peppercorns8
Ground cardamom½ tsp
Ground cinnamon⅛ tsp
Lowfat milk1 cup



  1. Combine  coffee granules, water, sugar, ginger, peppercorns, cardamom and cinnamon in small container.  Let sit for 3 minutes.
  2. Place milk in microwave-safe pitcher and microwave on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute, 30 seconds or until very hot.
  3. Strain coffee mixture into pitcher; discard spices.
  4. Divide between 2 mugs.

Tip:  Use cold milk in place of hot and serve over ice for an Iced Chai Coffee.
