NESCAFÉ Taster’s Choice House Blend 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules | 4 tsp |
Hot water | 1/2 cup |
Granulated sugar | 2–3 tsp |
Quarter-size slices of peeled fresh ginger | 2 |
Whole black peppercorns | 8 |
Ground cardamom | 1/2 tsp |
Ground cinnamon | 1/8 tsp |
Lowfat milk | 1 cup |
Method
- Combine coffee granules, water, sugar, ginger, peppercorns, cardamom, and cinnamon in small container. Let sit for 3 minutes.
- Place milk in microwave-safe pitcher and microwave on high (100%) power for 1 minute, 30 seconds or until very hot.
- Strain coffee mixture into pitcher; discard spices.
- Divide between 2 mugs.
Tip: Use cold milk in place of hot and serve over ice for an Iced Chai Coffee.
