Cheddar Cheese Beer Soup

Butter or margarine6 oz
Onions, chopped fine12 oz
Red bell peppers, diced12 oz
White pepper, ground1/8 tsp
Garlic powder1/4 tsp
Chef-mate Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce96 fl oz
Water64 fl oz
Minor’s Chicken Base Gluten Free made with Natural Ingredients2 Tbsp + 2 tsp
Beer, lager60 fl oz



  1. In a saucepot, melt butter or margarine. Sauté onions and red bell pepper until tender. Add pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.
  2. Stir in Cheddar Cheese Sauce, water, Chicken Base, and lager. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
  3. Reduce heat. Simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
  4. Hold on steam table or bain marie until needed.
