Ingredients

Butter, unsalted 0.25 cup
Onion, small diced 2 cup
Carrot, small diced 2 cup
Celery, small diced 1 cup
Water 160 fl.oz
Minor's Chicken Base Low Sodium (No Added MSG)* Gluten Free 6 x 1 pound 5 oz
Cooked chicken, meat only, light n dark, small diced 20 oz
Long grain white rice, dry 1.5 cup

Method

  1. In a large pot over medium high heat, melt butter. Add onions, carrots and celery; sauté 5 minutes.
  2. Add water, Chicken Base, chicken meat and rice. Stir to combine. Bring to a rapid boil. Reduce heat and continue to simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
