Ingredients
  • All purpose flour -- 8 oz.
  • Baking soda -- 1 tsp.
  • Brown sugar -- 8 oz.
  • Butter, salted, softened -- 8 oz.
  • Granulated sugar -- 4 oz.
  • Eggs, 2 eggs -- 3 oz.
  • Milk -- 1 oz.
  • Vanilla extract -- 2 tsp.
  • Oats, quick oatmeal -- 16 oz.
  • Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels Standard Size Bulk 25 pound - 900 count -- 12 oz.
  • Nuts, almonds, chopped, optional -- 6 oz.

    Preheat conventional oven to 375° F.

    Combine flour and baking soda in small bowl.

    Beat brown sugar, butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until creamy.

    Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla extract.

    Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels and nuts (if desired); mix well.

    Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased sheet pans.

    Bake for 9 - 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies. Cool on sheet pan for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
