Pumpkin Bolognese Sauce

Oil, vegetable2 Tbsp
Ground beef1 lb
Ground pork1/2 lb
Pumpkin, small dice1/2 cup
Celery, small dice1/2 cup
Onion, small dice1 cup
White wine1 cup
Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin2 cup
Minor's Classical Reductions Reduced Chicken Stock2 cup
Heavy cream1 cup
Parmesan cheese1/4 cup
Salt2 Tbsp



  1. Heat oil in a large pot, add beef and pork, cook until browned, remove and reserve.
  2. Add diced pumpkin, celery and onion to pan and cook until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Deglaze with wine, add pumpkin puree and chicken stock and stir to combine.
  4. Add meat back to pan and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.
  5. Add cream, cheese and salt.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with zucchini noodles or cooked pasta.
