Maggi® Seasoning -- 2 fl oz
Water -- 2 fl oz
Fish sauce -- 2 fl oz
Garlic cloves, minced -- 8 each
Granulated sugar -- 4 oz
Thoroughly whisk together Seasoning, water, fish sauce, garlic, and sugar in a bowl.
Reserve half of the sauce/marinade for reducing later.
Use the remaining half as a marinade. Marinate protein 6–24 hours. Discard marinade.
Heat reserved marinade on high heat until it reaches a syrup-like consistency.
Toss cooked protein in reduced sauce.
