Thai Shrimp Kebabs

Oil, vegetable1 Tbsp
Garlic, minced1 Tbsp
Ginger, minced1 Tbsp
Scallions, sliced1/2 cup
Minor’s® Sweet & Sour Sauce RTU1/2 gal
Green chile peppers, fire-roasted, diced1/4 cup
Lime juice1 Tbsp
Soy sauce1 Tbsp
Peanut butter1/4 cup
Sesame oil1 Tbsp
Shrimp, medium, raw5 lb



  1. In a sauté pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and scallions 4–5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Add sweet & sour sauce, green chiles, lime juice, soy sauce, peanut butter, and sesame oil.
  3. Cook sauce, stirring, until peanut butter is melted and sauce is well-blended. Cool.
  4. Marinate shrimp in 3 cups sauce for 2 hours. Discard marinade.
  5. Thread shrimp onto 6-inch bamboo skewers.
  6. Broil kebabs 5–6 minutes on each side or until shrimp is cooked.
  7. Heat remaining sauce and serve warm with kebabs for dipping.
