Thai Shrimp Kebabs

Oil, vegetable1 Tbsp
Garlic, minced1 Tbsp
Ginger, minced1 Tbsp
Scallions, sliced1/2 cup
Minor's Sweet & Sour Sauce RTU1/2 gal
Green chile peppers, fire-roasted, diced1/4 cup
Lime juice1 Tbsp
Soy sauce1 Tbsp
Peanut butter1/4 cup
Sesame seed oil1 Tbsp
Shrimp, medium, raw5 lb



  1. In a sauté pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger and Scallions 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Add Sweet & Sour Sauce, green chiles, lime juice, soy sauce, peanut butter and sesame oil.
  3. Cook sauce, stirring until peanut butter is melted and sauce is well blended. Cool.
  4. Marinate shrimp in 3 cups sauce for 2 hours. Discard marinade.
  5. Place shrimp onto 6" bamboo skewers.
  6. Broil kebabs 5-6 minutes on each side or until shrimp is cooked.
  7. Heat remaining sauce.
  8. Serve kebabs with 1 oz. warm sauce for dipping.
