Vegetable Lo Mein

Ingredients
  • Sesame seed oil -- 2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil, blended -- 2 tsp
  • Onions, sweet, raw, Julienne (1/2 cup) -- 2 oz
  • Garlic, cloves, fresh, minced -- 1 tbsp
  • Scallions, sliced (1/4 cup) -- 0.64 oz
  • Celery, julienne (1/2 cup) -- 3 oz
  • Carrots, raw, julienne (1 cup) -- 4 oz
  • Cabbage, raw, fine shredded (1 cup) -- 4 oz
  • Peas, green, frozen, (1/2 cup) -- 2 oz
  • Chinese noodle, cooked, hot -- 1 qt
  • Light soy sauce -- 1.5 tsp
  • Maggi Seasoning 6 x 27 fluid ounces -- 1.5 tsp
Preparation

    Add sesame oil and vegetable oil to pan over high heat.

    Add onions, garlic, and Scallions. Saute for 1-2 minutes.

    Add celery, carrots, cabbage and peas and saute until vegetables are al dente.

    Add noodles, soy, and Maggi Seasoning. Toss until well mixed and all ingredients are hot.
