Rustic Meat Loaf Sandwich
Ingredients

Red onion, chopped large -- 1 lb

Garlic, chopped, coarse -- 0.25 cup

Mushrooms, chopped large -- 3.5 cup

Parsley, fresh, stemmed -- 2 cup

Olive oil -- 2 tbsp

White bread, dry -- 8 oz

Milk -- 16 fl.oz

Eggs, whole -- 6 each

Black pepper, ground -- 1 tsp

Mustard, dried, powdered -- 2 tsp

Beef, ground, 85% lean, formed into patties -- 5 lb

Minor's Pork Base Gluten Free 6 x 1 pound -- 2 tbsp

Minor's Herb de Provence Flavor Concentrate Gluten Free 6 x 12.8 ounces -- 0.25 cup

Minor's Beef Base Low Sodium (No Added MSG)* Gluten Free 6 x 1 pound -- 0.25 cup

Turkey sausage, fresh, raw -- 1 lb
Preparation

1In food processor, combine onions, garlic, mushrooms and parsley; chop to medium coarse. In olive oil, sauté mixture 4–6 minutes. Chill.

2Combine white bread and milk and let soak, approximately 2 hours.

3Combine meat with all other ingredients and mix well.

4Split meat loaf mixture evenly into baking molds, approximately 2-1/2 lbs per mold.

5Bake at 350°F for approximately 45 minutes or until 155°F for minimum 15 seconds in center of product.

6MEAT LOAF SANDWICH: Slice cold meat loaf into 1-inch thick slices. Grill or sauté until hot. Build your open-faced sandwich using Ciabatta Bread.
