Cold German Potato Salad
Ingredients

Cider vinegar, (1/3 cup) -- 2.66 oz.

Water, (1/3 cup) -- 2.66 oz.

Onions, raw, small diced (1/2 cup) -- 2 oz.

Vegetable oil, (1/4 cup) -- 2 oz.

Minor's Bacon Base (No Added MSG)* 6 x 1 pound -- 1 tbsp.

Granulated sugar -- 1.5 tbsp.

Bacon bits, (2 tbsp.) -- 1 oz.

White pepper, ground -- 0.25 tsp.

Mustard, dried, powdered -- 0.25 tsp.

Table salt -- 0.25 tsp.

Potato, cooked, peeled, sliced (1 qt.) -- 24 oz.

Scallions, sliced thin (1/4 cup) -- 1 oz.
Preparation

1In a large stainless steal bowl, combine vinegar, water, onions, oil, Bacon Base, sugar, bacon bits, pepper, mustard and salt.

2Add potatoes and green onions. Fold gently to coat evenly. Do not overmix. Chill before service.
Variation:
1. Use red potatoes 2. Use fresh cooked bacon bits 3. Add sliced cooked knockwurst.
