Jalapeno Pull Apart Loaf

Look no further for the spicy and shareable loaf of your dreams. This jalapeno pull-apart bread filled with CHEF-MATE® ¡Que Bueno! Jalapeño Cheese sauce, green onions and garlic is a fan favorite.

  • Butter, unsalted -- 1 stick
  • Scallions, fresh, sliced -- 3 ea
  • Garlic, fresh, minced -- 2 cloves
  • Bread, loaf, sourdough -- 1 loaf
  • Chef-Mate Que Bueno Jalapeno Cheese Sauce --1 cup

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a half sheet tray with aluminum foil.

    In a small saucepot, melt butter. Add in scallions and minced garlic, cook 2 minutes. Set aside.

    Cut the bread on a diagonal into 1 inch diamonds. Do not cut all the way through the loaf.

    Using a mini offset spatula, spread the jalapeno cheese sauce in the inside of the diamonds, making sure to get into all the crevices.

    Using a pastry brush, brush the melted butter over the surface of the bread, getting some cheese in the crevices as well.

    Wrap loaf in foil and bake at 350° for 20 minutes then unwrap and bake for 5-10 minutes, until golden.

    Transfer to a platter.
