Servings Suggestions

Suggestions

Spoon over corn bread squares or warm buttermilk biscuits. Top a thawed pan of stew with corn bread batter and bake until stew is hot and topping is golden brown. Stir in burgundy wine during the last 5-10 minutes of heating for a flavorful beef burgundy stew. Add cut green beans, sliced celery and zucchini for a heartier beef vegetable stew. Stir in stewed tomatoes for another flavor dimension. Excellent filling for individual pot pies or cover thawed pan of stew with pie dough before baking.
