Add base to boiling water and stir, or blend base directly into your sauce and bring to a boil. To enhance your favorite recipes blend in base to reach desired flavor level. For a smoky bacon flavor add base according to the  following equivalents: .3/4 tsp. Base equals 1 slice bacon1 Tbsp Base equals 4 oz. bacon1/4 cup (3 oz.) Base equals 1 lb. bacon1 lb (one container) Base is equal in flavor to 5 lbs. 5 oz. of bacon.To flavor canned vegetables, add 4-5 Tbsp of Base for each #10 can of vegetables. .One (16 oz.) container of base seasons 6 #10 cans of vegetables.
